Message I'm in the process of purchasing a 93z TT from a buddy of mine.

The car currently sits in my garage as I'm trying to troubleshoot the issues with it in the meantime. The issues are as following:

The car has full exhaust, single pop, boost controller, deatschwerks 550cc OLD design (still new style pintle-less, but their old design of the injectors), and a tune.

The car has had a couple of 550cc tunes. With these tunes, the car lurches badly under acceleration, almost violently. Otherwise it wouldn't just cut out at random. One 550cc tune the car wouldn't even idle.

Currently the car has a 370cc tune on it. The car runs fantastic at idle and mild acceleration, no major load. However, once boost comes in...it hesitates/bogs/sputters and makes no power. I expect this due to the 370 tune powering 550 injectors but its weird how it runs better everywhere else. Also to note, the car smelled of gasoline quite a lot when I pulled it out of the garage today. Again, semi expecting with the tune....or could it be a leaky injector? (don't know the symptoms)

The car has proper plugs and has a strong motor and turbos.

Things I've yet to check:

-Timing (although I'm confident it's proper)
-Boost leaks
-Leaky Injector

I have not dug to deep into this yet but I figured I throw this post up to see if anyone has any strong ideas/suggestions.

The current/previous/whatever owner thinks that it is the deatschwerks injectors and that I should swap for some Nismos. I'm not against this theory but would like other input before I spend the money.

Let me know what you think!

-Mike
